The Florida Orchestra started a stellar week of performances with the spirited, nostalgic pops show Here to Stay: The Gershwin Experience. The show enchanted with hits and biographical tidbits on George Gershwin (and a little about lyricist brother Ira) led by guest conductor Sarah Hicks — whose long hair swung against an elegant beige satin dress with a fittingly jazzy sway.
