It only took a century, but it looks like a pair of longtime Tampa Bay Rays helped the Chicago Cubs finally win their first World Series title since 1908. The Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians 8-7 tonight in a game seven that went 10-innings.

Joe Maddon — who arrived to skipper the Rays in 2006 and racked up a 754-705 record before leaving for the Windy City in 2015 — finally gets a title he deserves, and ultimate nice guy Zobrist, 35, who arrived the same year as Maddon before be shipped to the Oakland A's in 2015 was named MVP.
