St. Pete Pier is once again lighting up the sky in honor of America’s 249th birthday.

The City of St. Peteโ€™s traditional Fourth of July celebration is set for 4 p.m-9:30 p.m. with fireworks starting at 9 p.m.

The display will be visible from the entire downtown waterfront, but the primary location for the event will be Spa Beach Park and Family Park located at the Pier.

Also included in the celebration is a family fun zone, roaming entertainers and live music on the Visit St. Pete Clearwater Main Stage.

Food and drinks will also be available at the festivalโ€™ thanks to Uncle Samโ€™s Market and an assortment of food trucks and craft beer garden.

Before the fireworks display, the fifth annual St.Pete Pier Run will be taking place. It is a four-mile walk-runโ€”because the Fourth of Julyโ€”in honor of the holiday that begins at 5 a.m. The race is followed by a 9 a.m. pie eating contest at Spa Beach. because what better way to reward yourself after running four miles than stuffing your face with pie.

There’s no cover the Fourth of July celebration happening around the St. Pete Pier.
