Orlando-based Coliseum of Comics, the largest comics and collectibles retailer in the Southeast will be opening it's first Tampa store on Free Comic Book Day, becoming the sixth location in the comic retail chain. Coliseum of Comics' Phil Boyle had this to say about the event:
“Every year we give out thousands of comics to fans and people who are about to become fans of the medium. With six stores in the chain, we’re finding new faces coming in every day, and Free Comic Book Day brings in the most new faces all year,” said Boyle. “Free Comic Book Day has been a great outreach to people who may not have experienced comics in their pre-movie format. It’s a great opportunity to come in and see what the next blockbuster will be based on, all for free!”
