Ever notice how in movies and music videos a piano will show up in an outdoor setting to make you think twice about the normal and everyday? Well, experience such out-of-context awesomeness when The Arts and Cultural Alliance presents its interactive music and art project on the streets of downtown Sarasota.
Take a trip to the pretty city south of the Skyway Fri., Jan. 17, starting at 5 p.m., for the inaugural season of Sarasota Keys. The piano project will place six painted spinet pianos along the sidewalks of Main Street, Pineapple Avenue and Palm Avenue. They will be available for the public to play, too.
