It's time to count down to the year that may just be the end of the world as we know it.

What's that you say? We shouldn't believe those new-agey interpreters of Mayan end-times prognostications? What about all those other Apocalyptic signs — scary Republican candidates, 666 cough syrup at Walgreens and the fact that we even know who Snooki is.

It may be our last NYE bash, so let's do it up big, and if you're wanting to venture out on NYE, please don't be an amateur and drink and drive.
