Grab your grills, bathing suits, friends and family and head to Gandy Beach for the Redneck Riviera Beach Bash. Why? To have fun and relax, but also to raise money for an Iraqi veteran and his family who do not have a home. Bring enough food for your group and a side to share, and maybe bring your own grill (lots of people means you might have to wait for your turn at one of the communal grills). Want to help the vet? Throw some cash in the pot the day of the event. You’ll hear music from Samuel “Sammy” Davis, hip hop singer/songwriter KC Rhymes and country hip hop singer/songwriter We-C-G, munch on food from the grill (or from Street Surfer food truck). GoGo Penguin Shack will serve Hawaiian shaved ice. If you can, bring canopies, tables and chairs and, of course, leave only footprints at the end of the day: Don’t forget the garbage bags!
