Tampa Bay area fans of contemporary art technically have until May 4 to experience “Extra Butter” at the USF Contemporary Art Museumbut the March 29 opening reception and award ceremony for this annual exhibition featuring Master’s thesis work by the third year Master of Fine Arts candidates at USF’s School of Art and Art History is a good chance to not only see who takes home honors in the 43rd Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, but to also rub elbows with the 13 artists who’ll have works displayed (Christian Cortes, Muriel Holloway, James Mastroni, Eric Ondina and Jason Pinckard are just a few of our favorites).
