Get outside in Tampa at the Town ‘N’ Country Nature Preserve

If you're looking for a way to get outside and explore — without getting lost in the woods (always a good thing) — check out the Town 'N' Country Nature Preserve. Hillsborough County released a new trail map — accessible here — to get you outside and moving. Have a horse? This is also a horse-friendly trail (good to know if you're hiking it, too — expect equines!). It's a mile loop, so you'll end up back where you started.

The trail takes hikers through freshwater marsh, pine flatwood and hardwood swamp (think maple and oak trees). Wear waterproof shoes, don't forget the bug spray and water, and get out there and explore.
