Looking for something supernatural to haunt your summer schedule?

This weekend, Silent Slayer Ghost Tours hosts an after-hours investigation of the 138-year-old Andrews Memorial Chapel in Dunedin.

The city’s second-oldest building was constructed in 1888 in honor of William Andrews, who was killed at 25-years-old by a falling tree while riding his horse during a thunderstorm. It’s likely collected a few more spirits when it was moved, first in 1926 to make way for the First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin, and then in1970 when it was sawed in half and brought to its current location by the Dunedin Historical Society.

Haunting rumors stem from reported sightings of ghost construction workers and floating pews are among the reasons many think the chapel is haunted.

Fifteen guests (ages 18+) will get five hours of “uninterrupted access to one of Florida’s most atmospheric sacred spaces.” Paranormal investigators will guide them through methods and tools to decide for themselves: Is the Andrews Memorial Chapel really haunted?

Tickets are available for $129 for the Andrews Memorial Chapel Ghost Hunt taking place on Saturday, July 11.
