The Seminole Tribe of Florida is betting that business at its Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa will continue to grow. So the Seminoles are preparing for a massive expansion that will cost between $600 and 800-million.
"We're moving forward with design and getting some of the design work as far forward as we can get it" said John Fontana the president of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
Tuesday, Fontana shared some of the expansion details exclusively with 10 Connects saying they hope to begin work by the end of the year.
The expansion will include a new 20 to 22 story hotel tower with up to 1,000 new rooms. That's more than triple the hotel's current 250 rooms. The new tower would also dwarf the Hard Rock's existing 8 story tower.
