Local artists will get the opportunity to transform a regular transit bus into a 35-foot-long rolling mural.

All Tampa Bay area artists are invited to enter the 2nd Annual Tampa Bay Foundation for Architecture & Design “ART on HART” program, which will showcase their work on a local bus to over 1.3 million residents of Hillsborough County.

Limited to one entry per artist, the piece must be original, on any type of medium, horizontal poster format, and digitally submitted. Canvas size must scale to 24-by-36-feet and must be submitted with the artist name printed along with address, phone number and email.

All artists that are interested in participating are requested to register their intent to submit form prior to September 27, by sending an email to tampabayfad@gmail.com

For more detailed contest rules, visit the website.

Entries will be judged by a panel of judges and the TBFAD “ART on HART” Committee. Submissions will be evaluated based on concept, originality, lay out and marketing adaptability.

The winner of the competition will receive a $2,000 dollar cash award, featured bio in the TBFAD ‘ART on HART’ printed program, and recognition on Tampa Bay Foundation for Architecture & Design and any participating organizations social media sites.
