On Sept. 12, the 4th Annual Steampunk Ball gets all sci-fi-anachronistic on us in high style, emceed and with live performances by Gen of the the Genitorturers Saturday, Sept. 12, at The Castle.
Expect to see "explorers of the unknown, inspectors of the strange, pilots of mysterious flying machines, mad scientists, maidens of mechanical corsetry, demented Absinthe dreamers, ladies and gentlemen, dandies and urchins."
The event also features burlesque diva Vita Devoid , Angelica Syn and DJ Joseph C. Vourteque operating his "Aural Fusion-0-scope in the main room. Visuals will be provided by Mr. Automatic and a VIP DunGen Party will include spins by DJ IX. A steampunk photobooth by Glitter Guts, aerial performances and costume contests are also scheduled.
The Castle is at 2004 N 16th St., Ybor City. Doors are at 10 p.m. Party continues through 3 a.m. Tickets on sale now on Eventbrite.com and cost $16 in advance for general Admission, $25 for VIP.
