It doesn't matter whether you're a casual moviegoer or a hardcore film fan; either way, you know about The Internet Movie Database. IMDb (as it's known to the geeks) is the encyclopedia for all things film and TV related. I personally spend way too much time on the website everyday. One of IMDb's many great features is including a biography of the actor, actress or the individual you are looking up. However, there's a petition making the rounds that would have IMDb remove parts of the feature — and taking anything away from my IMDB makes me very angry.
