Seminole Heights Founders Day Scavenger Hunt

Event on Facebook and at jugandbottledept.com.

Believe it or not, Seminole Heights turns 105 on July 18. T. Roy Young’s Seminole Development Corporation bought the area we today call Seminole Heights (see his ad in the 1912 Hillsborough High yearbook, pictured here). Instead of cake and ice scream, how about a bike ride and a scavenger hunt? The Seminole Heights Founders Day Scavenger Hunt, a marriage of History Bike Tampa and Jug & Bottle Dept., sends you pedaling across the Heights in search of clues. Scavenger hunts aren’t rocket science: Get your clues from Jug & Bottle, bike your ass off around Seminole Heights and solve the clues. Bring your completed clue sheet back to Jug & Bottle and (maybe) win a prize. Definitely you win a discount — participants get 15% their entire purchase, and that includes apparel.
