Interview with "The Weasel" Pauly Shore -- uncut

After the disappointing straight-to-DVD release of Pauly Shore is Dead, many people thought that Pauly Shore (aka “The Weasel”) had little more to offer Hollywood in the way of movie releases. (To be sure, a lot of people probably lost faith somewhere back in the '90s, but let’s be nice and say it that happened more recently.) But Weez fans, take heed: Pauly Shore is not dead, he’s just gone “G”-rated.

Pauly is launching his 2010 stand-up comedy tour in Ft. Lauderdale, it visits The Tampa Improv next weekend, and he has two new box office premieres coming out this year: one of them, Adopted, is about children. The other one, Opposite Day, is about … oh, children.

But seriously. Pauly Shore is a hoot and you all know it. We “vibed” on the phone last night (not Skype: Pauly isn’t comfortable with video chat. And not IM: Pauly can’t type fast enough for IM) about his tour, his movies, trundle beds and Tiffiani Amber Thiessen’s sexy bottom lip. She’s an 11 on the hotness scale, and she’s not as innocent as you think she is.

PS: Hey.

CL: Hey Pauly, how are you doing?

PS: Good, how’s it going?

CL: I’m doing pretty well.

PS: This is for my Tampa show, right?

CL: Yeah.

PS: Ok, cool. Cool.

CL: Are you excited about the Tampa show?

PS: You know, I haven’t been down there for quite some time, and I do get a little smile when I know I’m going to Tampa, you know? Tampa represents freedom, a party, wildness, little redneckish, you know? It’s cool. I like it.

CL: Ok, so I have some questions for you, if you don’t mind. Do you mind questions, Pauly?

PS: No, no. I don’t care.

CL: Do you mind if I start with the only Biodome question I’m going to ask during this interview?
