The trailer for Predators was amazing. It showed an escalation way above anything seen in the previous movies: more humans, more guns, different planet, and in the money shot, the hero (Adrien Brody) gets lit up by a dozen predator laser sights ready to blast him into a billion pieces. The geeks went wild. Only problem: The shot isn't in the movie.
Producer Robert Rodriguez told MTV he often films scenes just for the trailer to give the audience a taste without ruining the actual movie. That sounds like a good idea, but it's also kinda like false advertising
