The jazz age may be over, but the Museum of Fine Arts will resurrect it for a short time.
The MFA’s sixth annual Dinner and Jazz Series will transport you from the same ol’ same ol’ right back to the roaring twenties, every Friday through July 30. Dan McMillion (July 26), Impromptu (Aug. 2), Sasha Tuck (pictured, Aug. 23) will set up stage in the 6,180 square-foot Mary Alice McClendon Conservatory which offers an extraordinary view of the bay, and not to mention entry to the museum’s Color Acting show (see Megan Voeller’s Visual Art review at cltampa.com/arts for details on the exhibition.)

Don’t forget to grab some grub at the MFA Café, or order a cocktail from a beer and wine cash bar. Dinner reservations are recommended. Fri., July 26-Fri., July 30, 6:30-9:30 p.m. 255 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg. $10, 727-822-1032 or727-896-2667, ext. 258, fine-arts.org.
