What’s the deal with Tampa’s Hard Rock Event Center getting all the best shows?

After announcing a handful of national dates last week, Jerry Seinfeld now has plans to do stand up in Tampa Bay this fall.

Tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld play the Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa on Thursday, Sept. 28 go on sale to the public on Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m. and start at $179.
Of note is that Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s own Best of the Bay party happens in the same room the night before.

The news comes two weeks after Hard Rock Tampa announced a show from Seth Meyers and just days after Seinfeld announced a short run of U.S. arena dates with Jim Gaffigan, who will not be at this Tampa show.
