The land of Mickey might be a one- or two-hour drive for most of our readers, but that's the closest Kids in Hall will be (as of this writing) when the troupe launches on its limited North American tour this spring.

Comedians/actors Dave Foley, Scott Thompson, Kevin MacDonald, Mark McKinney and Bruce McCulloch will reunite and return to our snowbird state on May 9 at Universal Studios' Hard Rock Live. The enduring Toronto-based comedy troupe is launching a limited U.S. tour that includes Milwaukee, New York, Durham, Atlanta and world's theme park capital. Tickets go on sale March 13.

Kids in the Hall made their Central Fla. debut at Orlando's Hard Rock Live during KITH's first reunion tour back in 2000. In they show, they re-enacted all-time favorite sketches such as "Running Faggot" and beloved recurring characters like the Chicken Lady.  The troupe headlined Ruth Eckerd Hall seven years later and performed a show composed mostly of new material that was just as humorous as their TV classics.

The ensemble known and loved for their character-driven satire, experimental film shorts and gender-bending performances  originally appeared on TV from 1988 to 1995 (including broadcasts on CBC, HBO and CBS late nights) and in the 1996 movie Brain Candy. In 2010, they returned to TV in the CBC mini-series Death Comes to Town.

Members David Foley and Kevin McDonald have been the most active on American TV since the troupe ended its TV series in the late '90s. Foley, who was always the troupe's best looking cross-dresser, made an appearance at Tampa's Side Splitters in April 2011, and his most recent TV appearances include Veep, Justified and the revamped Odd Couple. In 2008, The Kids in the Hall were inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame.
