After an initial outing last October, filmmakers Lynn Marvin Dingfelder and Larry Wiezycki stage an encore screening of their documentary about La Gaceta, founded in 1922 as the country’s only tri-lingual newspaper, which has documented Tampeño politics, news, social fodder and more.
Tampa Theatre can hold considerably more people than the Cuban Club which hosted that fall screening, but it’ll never be big enough to host all the people whose lives have been touched by the work spearheaded by three generations of the Manteiga family.
