The Fans in attendance in Philadelphia went to what they thought would be a hockey game. The Ringling Brothers Barnum Bailey Circus is what they ended up getting, and it was the Tampa Bay Lightning outlasting and outscoring the Flyers 8-7 for their second straight road win.
The Flyers got the craziness off to a quick start early in the first when Andreas Nodl scored his 4th goal of the year at 4:21 to give the Flyers a 1-0 lead. They would add to that lead under two minutes later when Nikolav Zherdev got his sixth of the year to extend the lead to 2-0. The Flyers looked like they were going to run away with things at this point when the Lightning quickly got right back in the game.
Steven Stamkos would score his 17th goal of the year at the 18:20 mark to pull the Lightning with in a goal. Adam Hall would tie the game up for the Lightning at two just 16 seconds later with his 3rd goal of the year on a scramble in front. For the Lightning, it was an incredible, almost instant come back in a game that looked like was on its way to to becoming a laugher.
