Hes stood on the banks of the Potomac, ridden a bike 11 miles through the hills of northern Maine to the Canadian border, looked out over the valleys of San Diego all the way to Tijuana, and walked through the ghettos of Saginaw, Michigan at 3:30 in the morning clutching a bottle of pepper spray. Last year, 28-year-old Josh Sullivan traveled almost 21,000 miles around the United States by himself, with less than $4,000 to his name, just for the hell of it.
It still hasnt hit me that its over, yet. It still hasnt hit me that all those things that happened in 2009, happened, Josh says, laughing.
