While the kids may be at summer camp making popsicle-stick houses (do kids still do that, or do they simply 3D print a popsicle-stick-style house?), you can get your inner artist pumped — and make something special for yourself of a loved one. The Tampa Museum of Art's sponsoring a jewelry making workshop, where participants will hand-forge a nature-inspired silver pendant. No doubt, this ties into the TMA's exhibit, Inspired by Nature, which runs through July 22. In this workshop, you'll learn basic soldering techniques and torch fired enamel techniques.

Instructor Angela Dickerson will run this six-person-only workshop, which is intended for people 16 and up only.
