One of Tampa's finest film shindigs, The Gasparilla International Film Festival, has planted its flag on the weekend of March 18-21. The fest will kick off on Thurs., March 18 with a gala opening at downtown Tampa's gorgeous Tampa Theatre before moving to Hyde Park's new (and swank) CinéBistro for screenings all weekend. Closing ceremonies will take place Sun., March 21 at CinéBistro. No word on what films or talent will be in attendance, but we'll post more info as it becomes available.
