Another year, another lineup of innovative exhibits from downtown St. Petersburg’s Mize Gallery. Friday night marks the opening of this massive group show titled “Please Stand By.” All works in this show are inspired by a specific television show; each artist picked a show from an extensive list of popular and iconic programs to create a piece about.
A few shows that will be interpreted as art pieces by Tampa Bay-based painters and makers are The Twilight Zone, Parks & Recreation, The Simpsons and Black Mirror.
