As the androgynous Frank N. Furter in American Stage’s Rocky Horror Show, Matt McGee made it finally clear: he’s the funniest, most sympathetic, most ingratiating performer in the entire Bay area. This guy has so much fun on stage, you can’t help but share the enjoyment with him. And he was the perfect emcee for the Jeff Norton awards — the one personality sure to bind all area theater artists together in good feeling, good intentions, and, why not say it, love.
