College Boys Live, the documentary surrounding the scandalous website of the same name, details the lives of two "housemothers" and three boys (none of whom is actually in college) living in a webcam house in 24/7 voyeurism. It's entertaining to watch the housemothers attempt to convince themselves, amidst their $20,000/mo earnings, that they aren't running a sex site: especially amongst images of the site's toolbars (Live Sex Feeds, Sex Cams) and the 30-minute nude chatting requirement they enforce. It's heartbreaking, however, to listen to houseboy Tim recount his true feelings as the 'mothers offer the three boys with troubled pasts a home full of violence, alcohol and obsessive, movie villain-esque site members. While the documentary isn't particularly well-constructed in terms of pace, narrative or style, the information presented does leave an impression: one that will stick with you 24/7. Fri. Oct. 16, 11 p.m., Tampa Theatre. —Ryan Jent
