Hot topic on the movie blogs these days is the rehash the 2010 summer movie season. Some will bring up the few blockbusters that did well (Inception), but for the most part, the pontificators will tell you it was a pretty terrible year. Turns out the discussion isn't over yet, though, as Red has just arrived to the summer party.

Better late than never.

Red stars Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Karl Urban and Mary-Louise Parker in a movie that is half Space Cowboys, half The A-Team and all fun. The plot concerns retired CIA operative and super-spy Frank Moses (Willis), a guy flirting with an ordinary life and an ordinary girl (Parker), when out of nowhere, his ex-employer decides he knows too much and tries to kill him. The Agency sends a kill-squad lead by Karl Urban, who will stop at nothing to eliminate Moses and his old team, which consists of a mental patient (Malkovich), a female James Bond (Mirren) and Morgan Freeman. Can they clear their names before they get dead?
