Bringing a fair amount of horror to theaters this weekend is The Crazies, a remake of the 1973 film of the same name produced by original director George Romero. The movie paints a serene image of small town America before pulling back and exposing a more sinister world at large. If things seem a tad too quaint for their own good, I wouldn’t recommend looking over your shoulder, because the titular Crazies might be waiting to creep into the peaceful environs of your ordinary existence and turn it to mush. So, is Hollywood's latest horror flick like a contagious virus waiting to infect your dreams, or will you calmly settle back into reality after the movie is over?
