It's rare we start to hyperventilate when we open a press release, but this one did it. On Nov. 3 at 8 p.m., Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark will take the stage at Tampa Theatre with their live version of one of our favorite podcasts, My Favorite Murder.
If you don't listen to MFM, you should. These funny and smart women go over famous (and not-so-famous) murders with empathy and as much humor as you want in a true crime podcast. They have a posse of "murderinos" on Facebook, Entertainment Weekly loves them and they're coming to see us — you and I — at long last. (We stalk their website waiting for potential notice of a nearby appearance.)
Tickets go on sale at noon Aug. 4, and, seriously, they will sell out ridiculously fast. You can get tickets for as low as $38.50, but Tampa Theatre will also offer a few VIP meet-and-greet packages for $153.50. Those packages include a seat in the first five rows, a post-show VIP event and — squee — a photo op with the queens of murder. You also land an autographed tour poster and a VIP laminate.
Editor's note: Ticket prices don't include service fees.
