Time to hit the store and grab some holiday gear for your furry friend, because “Pictures with Santa Paws” is at Dog Bar this weekend. Leave the kids at home, because this event is 21 and up, but let’s be real: Anyone getting a picture of their dog with the big man doesn’t have kids, so this works out perfectly. All proceeds go to Ruff Beginnings Rescue, a local nonprofit organization. After photos, let your pup socialize while you grab a cold one from the bar and relax before the stress of the holiday season sets in.
Sun. Dec. 8, 1 p.m.-6 p.m. Dog Bar, 2300 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. dogbarstpete.com
