Some days you write about nude yoga or Iranian refugees, other days you get to write about escaped cobras with Facebook pages.

Today, my friends, is that day, and we couldn't be happier to share it with you.

On March 14, a cobra escaped from a private home in Ocala. As one might expect, this alarmed local residents as well as the FWC and local authorities, who immediately launched a snakehunt. We're not sure why no one can find it — judging from its social media presence, all FWC needs to do is ping where the posts are coming from. In addition to posting copious amounts of photos and memes on Facebook, he also has a Twitter account.

Let's all hope and pray to the deities of our choosing that the Ocala cobra doesn't make it down to the pythons in the Everglades. That'd be some real Sharknado shit right there.
