Comedy fans know who Bill Engvall is. But if you don't, you probably know his catch phrase.

Engvall was part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, and most of those guys were known for a specific phrase. You know, "Git-R-Done," and "You might be a redneck if…" That kind of stuff.

Engvall's is "Here's Your Sign." It's a nice way of pointing out idiots during the normal course of your day. The rest of us might use more colorful language than that (especially while driving), but Engvall is a clean comedian. He finds ways to deal with life's frustrations in a more family-friendly way. It's still funny, but it's also accessible to people who don't want to hear dirty comedy.

Engvall will bring his famous phrase and a lot of other material when he visits Ruth Eckerd Hall on October 12. Tickets are on sale now. If there was a downside to the Blue Collar tours, it was that you didn't really get to focus on one comedian's set. There was a lot of talent on the bill, and only so much time to accommodate them all. Engvall is the sole headliner here, so he has more space to share his thoughts, stories and new material. Sure, he still has his catch phrase, but he's a lot more than that on stage. Fans will get to enjoy all of it when he visits this fall, and if you want the best seats you'll want to grab them Saturday at noon. For best results, call the box office or use their website.
