On the Radar: ARTpool’s Tra’shion Fashion show is this Saturday in downtown St. Pete

Tra'shion Fashion III is this Saturday, July 17, at ARTpool Gallery in downtown St. Pete. Tra'shion Fashion is known for showcasing fun — and often

outrageous — alternative fashion looks crafted from recycled and other unconventional materials.

This year's show promises to be the biggest yet, with more than 15 designers and 45 models showing their stuff. There's also live music from local bands (The Punctual Hippies and Meteroeyes), an artist/designer market featuring more than 100 local artists, and food from Cafe Alma. DJ SORTA and DJ ENation.FM are spinning beats all night.

Don't miss this annual ode to designing treasure from another man's trash: Doors open at 8 p.m., and the runway show starts at 10 p.m.
