On the Radar: Love Songs and Dirty Jokes at American Stage

Welcome to On the Radar, where we preview upcoming events to mark your calendars for.  Love Songs and Dirty Jokes? Just add a little (eh, a lot) of wine and Bridget Jones (1 and 2) and it sounds like my post-breakup coping method.

In this one-woman cabaret show, part of American Stage’s After Hours Cabaret series, local songstress Melody Delaney (pictured) woos the crowd with standard and original music of lurve. Bring a friend, family or significant other, but leave the kiddies at home because this stage show is all grown up. July 9-12, 7:30 p.m. Fri.-Mon., American Stage, 163 Third St. S., St. Petersburg, pay-what-you-can at the door or $15 in advance, americanstage.org.
