If you’re sick of cops at Pride and corporate rainbow swag, there’s another queer celebration closer to its Stonewall roots.

People’s Pride Coalition hosts a night of live drag and music, free food and an LGBTQ+ vendor market “all without police, weapons manufacturers, or big corporate sponsors,” per the event description.

Get to know about a dozen local community organizations fighting for uncompromised queer joy and see performances from Zanzibean, Spirit.Gze, Lilith Black, Mycena Fae, DJ M1ck and Dames.

A donation of $5-$20 is suggested for People’s Pride Night on Friday, June 26 in St. Petersburg.
