Artist Francine Bauer finds inspiration in serendipity. No crime in that — who here hasn’t found themselves tripping delightfully down an unexpected path because of a lovely coincidence? At Perception of A Landscape: Solo Art of Francine Bauer you can see serendipity made art in this self-taught artist’s one-woman show. Her work, primarily oil and encaustics, exudes a definite peppy, frisky vibe. The exhibit opens Aug. 14 and runs through Sept. 11, but we suggest you head over on Thursday night for the opening reception ‘cause hey, it’s also music night. If you can’t make it then, head over during their regular hours: Mon.-Sat., 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sun., 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
