Just so happens that this month's Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays — known now as PFLAG — meeting takes place on the same day we're hoisting the Pride flag. Pride Month may make it seem like it's easy-peasy to live as an openly gay, lesbian or trans person, but that isn't always the case. Likewise, sometimes the people supporting the LGBTQ community need a support system, too. That's why there's PFLAG. So if that's the case — or even if you're simply wanting to support others needing support — head to this month's meeting of the St. Petersburg chapter.
