Coachman Park re-opened Wednesday evening with much pomp and circumstance. The city turned the intersection of Osceola and Cleveland St. into a sort of outdoor theater for the grand opening ceremony, arranging about a dozen rows of folding white chairs before a stage. Clearwater Mayor Brian Aungst Sr., Senator Ed Hooper, every sports mascot in Tampa Bay, and several members of the Coachman family attended the event, which concluded with a ribbon cutting in the Upper Plaza.
