The University of Connecticut’s women’s basketball team is top of the heap after last Sunday following its 82-59 win over the University of South Carolina. Inside Tampa’s Amalie Arena following the final buzzer, senior guard Paige Bueckers and teammates relished in the school’s 12th national championship.
The national championship game capped off an exciting week of NCAA Women’s Final Four activity on the court—UCLA and the University of Texas also plays in the semifinals last Friday, and Amalie hosted an open practice last Saturday—as well as off it it (GloRilla played a sold-out free concert over the weekend).
