Tuesday night's episode of Lost got me real excited for where the rest of the season is heading. With two great, highly entertaining epiodes in a row, the show seems to be on the path to an epic finale. I'll admit, I wasn't too excited for a Hurley-centric episode, but "Everybody Loves Hugo" was more in the vein of "Happily Ever After" than anything else we've seen so far. Not to mention it included my favorite season 6 WTF moment: Desmond gets thrown down a well! I mean, I kind of saw it coming; what good is a hole in the ground on the show if nobody goes down it? But I think Smokey had lured everyone into believing he isn't downright mean. But, man, that was cruel. I couldn't help but notice the parallel to Desmond's button-pushing days: He's once again trapped in a hole near some apparent electromagnetic activity, but this time he seems to have some knowledge about what's going on.
