Welcome to the very first episode-recapping edition of the Project Runway podcast!! (Can you feel the excitement?) So, this week was pretty typical of any Runway premiere, intros to all the designers, some hilarious moments from Anthony (who will be referred to from this point on as "The Jolly Homosexual" or "Jollysexual"), a fairly vanilla challenge of showing who you are as a designer and our first cry of the season about two minutes in thanks to Janeane.
In case you missed it, our other Central Florida designer, Jesse, has a day job at the Mousehouse, dressing up like Jack Sparrow and scaring young children. Ben, our Tampa boy, was sliding by in the middle, remaining soft-spoken, as we kinda sorta expected from his interview with Creative Loafing last week. Maya ripped off Christian Siriano like it's her job and Seth (that's the guy who was channeling old rock stars the whole episode) got attitude with Tim Gunn, which is pretty much totally unacceptable unless you are Kenley Collins.
