Although the seasons don’t change in Florida like they do in other states, that doesn’t mean the Tampa Bay area can’t enjoy pumpkin patches, corn mazes and other fall-themed activities.

Odessa-based Raprager Family Farm’s Fall Festival opens this weekend, with tons of family-friendly fun to be had, from interactive activities like hay rides, petting zoos, giant hay chute slides and inflatable mazes to adult-friendly affairs like axe throwing, live music and a local vendor market. You can also let the kiddos indulge in piping hot apple cider doughnuts and freshly-churned ice cream after a haunted hay ride or two.

While Raprage’s events are always kid-friendly, festivities get a little spooky after 6 p.m. (you can always skip the 5,000 square-foot haunted house). Children ages 2 and under can attend the Fall Festival for free.

Raprage’s weekend festivals—happening at 16907 Boy Scout Rd.in Odessa—are definitely a good reason to trek outside of Tampa for a little glimpse of the true fall experience.

Tickets to the Raprager Fall Pumpkin Festival happening every Friday-Sunday until Oct. 29 start at $16.95.
