Rays grab gutsy 2-1 win from Blue Jays

More anxiety! Just what I need. The day after getting walloped by this Toronto team, Tampa Bay held on for a 2-1 victory, with David Price getting the W and Evan Longoria driving in the game-winning run in the home half of the eighth frame.

Things were quiet through four innings with no real scoring threats except for Sean Rodriguez in the second inning. He cracked a two-out triple in the bottom of the frame but was left stranded by Triple-A call up Brad Hawpe.

Toronto got on the board first in the top of the fifth inning. John Buck led off the frame, taking a 3-2 fastball from Price into the stands in left field for a home run. Three outs later and it was time for Tampa Bay to get one back.
