Rays hit new low, drop game and series 2-1 to lowly Diamondbacks

Oh, that headline hits on so many levels, I don’t really revel in its cleverness. The bats were practically silent again as the Tampa Bay Rays scored a single run on two hits, wasting a solid effort from starter Wade Davis to lose 2-1 to Arizona on Sunday at Tropicana field. Apparently the only thing B.J. Upton is capable of hitting is the best player on the team. Sorry, had to get that first shot out of the way; there’s plenty more where that came from (see below). There was more passion from the center fielder in the dugout dust-up with Evan Longoria than there was on the field for the last few months. Miss the game? Find out what I’m talking about here.
