Ah, the typical pissing, moaning, and crying of fans who wants it all, all the time. Because that's realistic; sorry you missed the lesson on reality at the school of life, all you armchair quarterbacking malcontents. Acting like you have a reason to jump ship, complaining ad nauseum to the point where I'm not sure if you're a bigger fan of winning or whining; all you can manage are knee-jerk reactions, unable to meaningfully respond to anything beyond your minimal attention span. Go root for the Yankees with all the other watered-down adolescents; despite resting on the laurels of "27," they're the biggest turncoats of the lot. You'll fit right in.
Sorry, had to get that out. Fortunately, the rest of us fans will be spared the crybaby routine for at least a day, as the Tampa Bay Rays took out almost a weeks worth of frustration on the Detroit Tigers, snapping a five-game losing streak with a 6-3 win that saw former Tiger Matt Joyce pop a homer in his former digs. David Price looked a bit shaky in the start but got it done for five innings, striking out nine and allowing two runs on five hits plus four walks before the bullpen took care of business. Joaquin Benoit gave up the other Tigers run, a solo home run to Brennan Boesch after a brilliant catch by Evan Longoria on Jhonny Peralta's line drive, else that long ball would have been a bit more damaging.
