Riverfest brings tacos, lanterns, yoga, weiner dogs and more to Tampa’s waterfront

The Tampa Riverwalk always has great views, but this weekend they’ll include glowing hot air balloons, racing wiener dogs, parading lanterns and dancing water skiers.

Here are some highlights of Riverfest, the two-day festival taking over Tampa’s waterfront:

• Taste of the Riverwalk: Friday 5:30-9 p.m. $20-25.
• Urban Kai Paddle Invasion: Saturday 7:30-11:30 a.m. $55.
• Free Yourself Yoga: Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m. No cover.
• Florida Wiener Dog Derby XV -Jurassic Bark: Saturday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. $15.
• TacoFest: Saturday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. $20-25.
