In episode nine of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season ten Roy "Big Country" Nelson defeated Justin Wren via split decision (20-18, 20-18, 19-19) in the first quarter-final bout of the season. Nelson now advances to the semi-finals where he will most likely face one of the other members from Team Rashad.

While Wren seemed to dominated Nelson for most of the first and second round, Nelson went into over-drive at the end of the second round, apparently leaving a favorable impression on the judges. In lieu of calling a draw and adding a third round to the bout, they awarded Nelson the win via split decision, proving once again that judges are only human and certainly not perfect.
