It’s been a quarter century since the Wayans brothers had moviegoers in a chokehold. Even if much of “White Chicks,” “Little Man” and the “Scary Movie” franchise aged like milk, Marlon and Shawn Wayans were undoubtedly kings of hilarious dumb shit.

After an exhausting, pretentious stretch of American media where no one could figure out how to be lowbrow but unoffensive and everything had to be *art*, dumb shit is back, baby. “Scary Movie” (and “Jackass”!) is back in theaters.

“I think our world, our culture, everything has gotten real negative and dark and sad,” Marlon told ET while filming the latest movie. “The world needs a big ass laugh and we’re a brand that knows how to make the world laugh.”

He’s also hoping to make audiences laugh in Tampa this week with five shows at Funny Bone.

Tickets are $60 for Marlon Wayans in Tampa on Friday-Sunday, July 3-5.
